This project introduced active youth from Ukraine and Poland to the concepts of social inclusion. Particularly it focused on involving young people with disabilities into society and improving knowledge about human rights – issues that are extremely important in today’s world.Through interactive exercises, teamwork, innovative methods of non-formal education and communication with young people with economic and geographical barriers, the project participants laid the foundations for solving youth problems in the future and creating greater opportunities for development. In addition, during the week the participants learned more about culture of the two countries, which allowed for the establishment of a truly productive dialogue and possible future partnerhsip.

The project took place from October 30 to November 6, 2016 in the village of Slavske, a region of Lviv. It gathered 24 young people from Poland and Ukraine. Implementation of the project was possible thanks to partners from the youth organization “Youth Support Center” (Wroclaw, Poland), as well as financial support of the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine.
